The last 7 days of me and my family's holidays Efe came to visit us! It was so good and i really enjoyed it, and Efe told so too. But we REALLY missed Sverrir. You was meant to bee there, ok but we had a cool time anyway. We spent the time, sleeping, watching lost (a TV program), eating, partying and so on! here are the pictures!

Going out in Copenhagen

Copenhagen is a really cool city, and right now its the host for Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

In this blog ill post some pictures from Copenhagen (my life), and also many pictures of a cool night, listening to jazz with a really cool friend.

The big black dog (nutte) is my dog, and the little white (kenso) is a friends dog. But what a nice picture :) Want to send a letter?

BOCA WON!

Boca(the biggest and best club of Argentina, Buenos Aires) won "la cope libertadores" yesterday. It is big. It is the South American version of Champions League. It was amazing to bee in the center of Reconquista in this moment! Just watch the pictures, and video!

Empanadas and bagpipe

Alex´s bagpipe. This bagpipe is actually a little special. Because fore some months ago Alex went to Buenos Aires to play the bagpipe in a music number with a Argentinian group. But the bagpipe got stolen. So AFS bought a new to him. Alex was just so happy. It might bee that the pictures are for freaks, but take a look anyway.

Reconquista

Pics from a trip to the outside Reconquista

Efe, Sverrir and me don't come their so much.

But the Friday (8 of June) my friend, Manuel,and me went on Bic's to take some pictures and
see how it is there. It is easy to explain how Reconquista is. Its like a city city, "perfect" and then outside the city are there so many houses and stuff.

On the trip we also went to a museum about Reconquista, which is really good..

NOTE: these pics don't want to say anything bad about Argentina, everyone has to understand that Efe, Sverrir and Alex REALLY LOVE this country, Argentina, but we also wants to show how the city and its people is.

OK - here comes some pics.

This is the old house of Efe, where he lived before.

This is decorated beautiful with red stof. Why? I don't know, but when time come, i will write it right here :D

This pic is funny because, Manu and me are riding the Bic's and suddenly their is a ship!

The owner of this house must be really fan! He has painted the house in the colors of Boca. Boca it the largest football club in Argentina, and yes; the colours are very Swedish. Why? because when they were making the football club many years ago, they couldn't figure out the colours, and then they said; lets use the colours of the next ship that comes to Buenos Aires. Well a Swedish ship.

This is a place with about 10-15 houses really amazing. Its like a movie. It is outside the city, and one guy from my group of friends, has a house here ( not this house). Just showing 2 guys working with the roof.

This is his beautiful house. One square meter cost 100 US dollar's, 10 years ago 50! The family living their has the biggest farm in all the north of Argentina. Bigger than Denmark :(

A weekend with a lot of food

This weekend Alex, Signe, Efe, Sverrir, Elena and Svandís met at Alexs' house to eat a tradicional dish that the two Danes cooked.

Later that night we went to the disco (Chicano) and had a good time.

Jeg har ikke taenkt mig at skrive en grund til at starte en krig eller noget saadan.
Saadan set bare en politisk kommentar til Politiken Weekly om situationen i Danmark.

Det er temaet omkring Asmaa, der har faaet mig til at taenke helt vildt. Ja det bliver ogsaa min anledning til at sige at jeg har andret min politiske holdning. Det kommer maaske nok som et chock.

Ja man har jo et standpunkt til man tar et nyt, og det har jeg saa gjort. Det virker dom meget naturligt for mig. For i takt med at man bliver kloegere, ja saa maa man da ogsaa fornye sinde holdninger. Jo helt aerligt, med meget respekt, og ogsaa tak til mor og far, saa har jeg set verden nu. Jeg har set et andet ansigt omkring USA som vi aldrig bringer frem herhjemme. Ogsaa med England. Hvad der skete i 1983 med las malvinas (falklands islands), osv osv osv har aendret mid holdning meget.

Det vil jeg ikke skrive mere om, for min holdning er under opbygning, og derfor ikke klar til prasentation. Men deriomod vil jeg beskue sagen om Asmaa kort fra en udvekslingstudents synsvikling, for hvem har i virkeligheden ret. Ganske som jeg er har laert det er verden anderledes end i Danmark. I argentina hilser piger nemelig heller ikke med haanden. Citat fra Politiken:

Der kom jeg sq til at taenke alvorligt meget! Det kan belyses fra to synsvinkler.

"Hun traenger til psykiartrisk behandling. Man maa jo behandle den slags mennesker.

Det er nogle hjernevaskede smaa stakler, som gaar med toerklaeder. SKik foelge ller land fly, saa simpelt er det. Jo foer hun rejser, jo bedre."

Men i hendes citat manglede hun altsaa lige en ting. Hendes citat skulle havde vaeret saaledes:

Argentina poor & rich

Argentina poor and rich.

Alex and Sverrir took a cruise around Reconquista to take pictures of the differences between poor and rich in the great country of Argentina. (Reconquista)

From the stuff that we've seen and been told the rest of the country is more or less the same.

Poor people get spaces like the ones you see instead of beeing buried in the ground like in Europe...

Graves of the poor. Take a good look at the football, a grave of a small child that could've been the next Maradonna.

In the poor neighbourhoods football is more then a sport, it's everything and the football in the grave symbolizes pride.

Also a goodlooking tomb symbolizes money and a rich family has a beautiful tomb.

These apartments are equal to the ones that the poor people in the Soviet Union had but still 100 times better than the "apartments" in the slums outside the city limit...

Pay attencion to the Photocopy place. Here 1/5 of the people have computers and even fewer have printers so everybody has to take photocopies of everything.

Reconquista alone thas about 50 photocopies...

A normal car in the low-class neighbourhoods.

2 upperclass ladies ,close toBatistutas', house relaxing in the afternoon, not having to worry about anything.

On the other hand, this guy has to worry about if he gets to eat tonight or not.

Sadly this class of people is way to big in this country.

This cyber, wich is the only good one in the city, shows activities equal to ours that are europe and that we take for granted.

In Argentina, the cyber is a luxary and a computer is not accesable for everyone, expecialy the poor. Some of them don't even know how to turn one on...

If you don't have the money to secure your house, you have to improvize.

This guy uses pieces of broken glass to keep intruders off his property.

Unfortunatly this is the hard truth of Argentina and with out protection you house will get robbed.

Reconquista also has a normal class that spends a lot of time in the local hangout place, the plaza..

Alex i Argentina

Ok saa skal der skrives paa dansk. Og der skal skrives om hvordan jeg har det!
Jeg har lige laest mailen om at mine argentinske foeraeldre har besoegt solbakkevej 64. Det glaeder mig rigtig meget, at i synes at de er soede, for de er nemlig meget soede.
Hvad tanker sidder jeg med? Alle siger jo at Hitlers bog er daarlig fordi han havde saa mange tanker, og kunne ikke faa dem sat i system!!

Saadan foeler jeg det lidt, jeg sidder bare med rigtig mange tanker jeg godt kunne taenke mig at skrive om! Alle foerst lige noget om den Argentinske kultur. Jeg har hoert rigtig mange gange i Danmark at vi snakke om at vi er saa heldige over at vaere foedt i Danmark? Hvorfor er vi saa heldige for det? Selvf. skal man ikke sige at glaset er halvt tomt, det er halvt fyldt, men alligevel hvad er det jeg gerne vil skrive? Jeg tror det haenger sammen at jeg virkelig godt kan lide Argentina, og derfor for jeg det rigtig daarligt naar nogen siger at Argentina f eks er fattigt, u land, banan republik (som jeg jo selv kaldte det i min tid uden argentina) osv, og saa faar jeg lyst til at forsvare det rigtig meget!

Og noget af det der stadig braender lidt i hukomelsen er Christians kommentar en dejlig mad dag. Vi sad og snakkede om det der udveklingstudent noget, og saa sagde han til mig, ey jeg tror bare jeg ville havde det svaert med at leve i saadan et fattigt land. Det taenkte jeg ogsaa meget paa. Men saa er det bare at jeg foeler mig helt anderledes. Fordi danmark er i virkeligheden slet ikke saa rigt! Og argentina er slet ikke saa fattigt!

Naar jeg sammenligner mit liv er der nogle ting der goer at du foeler det er et fattigt land, og andre ting der goer at du foeler at det er et rigt land! Lad os alligevel starte med en fattig ting.

Skolen. Det er helt klart den foerste ting. Bygningen er grim og klam, der er intet varmesystem til om vinteren, og der er kun 4 blaeser til om sommeren naa der er 40 grader, og 45 mennesker. Alle stolene er smadret (desuden forskellige), og bordene er endnu vaerre! Og saa er der ikke penge fra staten til boeger. Heller ikke til kopier! man skal betale hver eneste gang man vil havde fotokopier. Saa skal man ellers kopier vildt meget, og skrive ned naar laeren taler, fordi der er typisk kun 1 bog! Det er hardt. Desuden er tavlen svaer at se, osv osv. Saa er det sq alligevelt utroligt at de kan holde saadan et hoejt level. Det er fantastisk. Jeg forstaar INTET i matematik. Og jeg scorede saadan set 11 i aarskarater, og 10 til eksamen. Saa der kan man lige taenke 2 gange.

Saa kunne det vaere fedt at skrive en ting der faar mig til at foele rig!

Hushjaelp. Hver eneste dag, minus soendag, saa kommer Elminia. Hun er den bedste arbejdhest jeg nogen sinde har set i mit liv! Hun rydder op osv som en galning. Det er helt ubeskrivligt! jeg har aldrig set hende tag en pause, hun laver mad, hun redder seng, hun slukker blaeseren hvis man lige siger; sluk lige! Det er helt vildt. Det skal maaske siges som forkaelet. Vi siger altid i danmark; nej hvor er i forkaelde. Det har jeg faaet af vide mange gange i mit liv. Men de er sq meget mere forkaelede hernede! Jeg laver INTET hernede. Heller ikke mine broedre. Og naar hvores venner kommer paa besoeg fra andre lande, f eks tyrkiet, eller colombia, siger vi altid; nej hvordan er det de skal klare sig i fremtiden!!!??? Det er altsaa bare en anden kultur! Naa jeg og mine venner hernede besoeger en vendinde, saa servere de altid. Naar min familie sidder til bors, siger min far altid, ey marita hendt vand! Saadan er det bare.

Emneskift!

Saa her den anden dag havde jeg lidt problemer med min bror. Vi havde en god fest i mit hus, vi var en ca 15 stykker. Ja ligesom du kan saa paa blogen. Der var koebt for lidt oel. Det var vist fejlen. Det der sker er at klokken 4 om morgnen tager Sverrir, Migue og jeg, ud for at koebe mere oel. Vi sidder ude i min have, imens at min bror og en ven danser alene til hoej musik i koekkenet, de giver den virkelig gas. Naar efter at havde lidt efter en kiosk (migue har bil), ja saa for vi koebt en 3 oel(3 liter) Da vi kommer ind i huset putter jeg en i koeleskabet, og vi andre drikker de 2 oel.

Men saa da jeg smutter ind for at hendte den sidste oel, ja saa staar min bror kraft aedme og drikker den! Saa siger jeg saa, nej det goer ikke! kan du saa give den til mig. Han siger saa nej, jeg betaler. Saa siger jeg; det er jeg ligeglad med, giv mig oelen, desuden har Sverrir betalt! Saa siger han nej en gang til! saa tager jeg olen! det resultere i at han lukker vindue, doeren - det hele, og siger saa kan du sq bo ude i haven! Det goer mig sq meget ked af det.

Fordi her paa det sidste har det vaere lidt svart ikke at havde et hus. Ikke at kunne bestemme maden. Ikke at kunne bestemme hvornaar vi skal se TV. Ikke at kunne bestemme hvornaar der skal oeves musik osv osv. Jeg habber virkelig i kan forstaa mine foelelser, fordi saa kulminerede det bare! En kombination af ikke at havde et hus, at marcos altid ser tv om aftene, saa jeg ikke kan sove indtil klokken 12 osv osv! Ja saa siger han sq til mig at her skal jeg ikke bo! Saa sker der det, at 95% af min krop goer klar til at sparke doeren ind (har jeg jo erfaring fra, LPS), og saa slaa ham ihjel, og tage hjem til danmark. Naah men noget har Karsten Suhr, Xenia, Far og Mor fandme laert mig. Man skal holde IGEN! saa jeg raabte alt hvad jeg kunne! EFE! EFE! EFE! kom her! EFE KOM KOM KOM! fordi jeg vidste at hvis Efe ikke kom for at koele mig ned. Saa jeg placerede lige nogle horde knut naeve slag i bord tennis bordet, og saa kom Efe!

Vi brugte naesten hele aftenen paa at snakke. Klokken blev omkring klokken 6. Dagen efter blev det hele bare saa meget bedre. Det viser sig at Marcos slet ikke var klar over hvordan jeg havde det, saa nu har han aendret sig og det er bare saa dejligt! kan virkelig godt lide ham nu!

Ellers savner jeg Danmark. Snakkede her den anden dag med Signe. Sikke et dejligt land vi alligvel har! Vi snakkede om haandbold kampen da danmark vandt OL den 3. gang. Da danmark naesten vandt VM i 98. Om rune klan, om Anden. Om dronningen. Og saa sagde hun; ey Alex jeg har en dvd med Klovn. Det fik jeg aldrig rigtig set i Danmark. Men hold kaeft hvor er det hamrende sjovt! Godt nok saa er formatet anderledes, saa man kan ikke se det i farver, men det betyder heller ingen ting! TAK tik Signe, TAK til Danmark og TAK til KLOVN.

Og herligt at Daniel Agger spiller saa godt at de snakker om ham hernede!

After a little time, we started playing a really cool card game from Icland. Sverrir taking himself in a mistake, now he neds to drink!

After some time, Sverrir starts teaching Efe how to do stranges sounds, only with the hand and the mouth (!!!!)

Like in all partys in the world, dancing is so important, here Alex, and German. The friends of Marcos (the brother of Alex) joined the party after a while!
